RIT is now a Crossref member: DOIs for greater scholarly visibility

The Revista Interdisciplinaria de Teología is now part of Crossref, an international scholarly infrastructure that connects publications, institutions, and researchers through persistent identifiers and open metadata.

With this step, RIT has begun registering its contributions with DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers): permanent, internationally recognized links that reliably identify each work and direct readers to its publication page.

For authors who publish with RIT, this means a stronger scholarly presence. DOIs support accurate citation, improve discovery and correct attribution, facilitate citation tracking, and allow publications to be connected with persistent identifiers and scholarly profiles such as ORCID.

This development strengthens RIT’s diamond open access model: no fees for authors or readers. Each published work is thus better positioned to circulate openly, reliably, and interoperably across national and international scholarly systems.
