Abstract

This text was originally published in August 2010 by the Argentine Baptist Evangelical Convention as part of a document titled 'The Church in the Third Millennium: Trends, Challenges and Opportunities.' The introduction to this document reads: 'The leadership team of the Baptist Evangelical Convention researched and compiled information on the trends and opportunities observed worldwide, and how they affect the church's mission, along with the challenges it faces in being salt and light of the Earth.' The excerpt republished here corresponds to the chapter addressing the issue of climate change.
