Elsa Viviana Barrón es Licenciada en Trabajo Social de la Universidad Nacional de La Matanza (UNLAM). Magister en Investigación en Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) y en Estudios religiosos en el Seminario Internacional Teológico Bautista (SITB). Doctorada y Posdoctorada en Ciencias Sociales (UBA). Docente en UBA, UNLAM, Universidad del Museo Social Argentino. Docente investigadora en FSOC UBA. Miembro de equipo de investigación en el CEIL-CONICET. Coordinadora académica de la Diplomatura en Diversidad Religiosa, Espacio Público e Interculturalidad de la UBA. Rectora del Seminario Internacional Teológico Bautista en Buenos Aires, Argentina.
